Charlotte Brielle

Paris Based Birthworker

Culture is Dynamic, But Birth is Universal.

There are universal acceptances around birth that we have simply accepted for too long—and I no longer want to accept them. The way birth is approached, respected, and treated around the world needs to change.

We need to shift the conversation so that we can have better birth outcomes everywhere. And this is my crusade. This is what I want to do. This is what I want to talk about.

Through anthropology, sociology, and birthwork, I have studied how culture shapes maternal health—and yet, across every place I’ve been, one thing remains clear: birth is a universal experience that deserves better care.

I speak on birth, reproductive justice, and maternal health with enthusiasm, knowledge, love, wisdom, and a good sense of humor.

If you’re looking for someone who can connect, teach, inspire, and make people think differently about birth and society—let’s talk.

About Charlotte as a Speaker

Birth is a cultural, political, and human rights issue. It is a reflection of our values, our structures, and what we choose to prioritize.

Through Wombs of the World, doula trainings, and global birthwork education, I’ve had the privilege of stepping back and seeing the bigger picture:

Culture is dynamic, but birth is universal. ✨

From Ecuador to Tanzania, from the mountains of Colorado to the hospitals of Paris, I have seen the patterns, the injustices, and the truths that birth reveals about society.

I would love the opportunity to share my expertise in a teaching capacity, a podcast, a panel discussion, or a creative collaboration.

Birth is deeply personal, profoundly political, and universally human. Across every culture and community, birth reveals what we value, what we protect, and what we allow to be neglected.

Through my work with Wombs of the World, global birthwork education, and maternal health advocacy, I’ve had the privilege of learning from midwives, birthworkers, and families across the world.

Culture is dynamic, but birth is universal. And yet, we continue to accept outdated, harmful systems that fail birthing people every day.

I speak on birth, justice, and leadership with enthusiasm, knowledge, love, and a willingness to have the conversations that need to be had. If you’re looking for a guest or speaker who can bring nuance, depth, and fresh perspectives, let’s start the conversation.
